Services-Architectural
Design and Planning:

Richard and his team will provide you with more than just a new
perspective. He will help you understand how we create a building based
on your needs, whose design fits the land, comfortably suits the people
using it, and is solid enough to stand the test of time. Richard
searches for sustainable, symbiotic solutions, or opportunities to
ensure that the building fits the location and is adaptive to the local
ecosystem and available resources.

Design and
Construction Project Management:
Richard can oversee all design and construction processes from initial
concepts through owner occupancy. This includes establishing budgets,
developing proposal packages, acquiring locations, assembling
construction teams, assisting throughout the bidding process, selecting
contractors and monitoring construction progress. It's like
having a friend in the business. If you're a GREAT client, he may even
help get
you moved in.
Green Building:
A lot of firms offer green building but few have really taken the time
to understand what it means. Richard not only understands green
building, but knows how to incorporate it into the architecture of your
home or commercial building in a way that tells the world you are green
OR in a way that no one will even know it's green unless you tell them.
Solar? Rainwater Harvesting? Geothermal? The United States Green
Building Council's LEED certification system dwells on five key areas:
sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency,
materials selection, and indoor environmental quality. Your project may
require other considerations. Richard is ALWAYS eager to help you build
an adequately funded green project.
Ecologically
Sound Land-Use Planning:
Not sure about how to use your land without destroying the natural
amenities that make it special? Richard can help you find the best ways
to do this by combining and studying information from topographical
maps, flood plain maps, zoning maps, aerial photos and on-site
assessments. If you wish he can create a Master Land-Use Plan for you.
